 Seminar on Fire Protection Measures on the Handling and Use of Flammable and Combustible Liquids Description

The seminar will cover the Canadian requirements on the subject matter including classification, ventilation, electrical safety, spill control, explosion venting, fire protection systems, pre-start health and safety review and fire safety planning. The relevant NFPA standards will also be covered. Case studies will be included as much as possible. This seminar is ideal for comparative study of international fire codes and legislation on the subject matter from the law enforcement and design consultant's point of view.

 Technical Visit

Contract No. HY/2009/18 - Central – Wan Chai Bypass – Central Interchange

 

This visit will provide our members an insight into the planning, design and construction of a mega size infrastructure project in a heavily congested urban area.  It will also include an introduction of the Central – Wan Chai Bypass project with a discussion on the implementation of Temporary Traffic Arrangement and Safety Management System of one of the contract – Central Interchange in Central Community Liaison Centre.
